MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z – Part II – Overclocking pe AIO si chiller – Unleash the beast
Rezultate pe chiller
Prima data am pornit chiller-ul si am urmarit mentinerea contactului waterblock-ului cu GPU-ul in parametri. Dupa ce am confirmat ca totul este in regula, am setat chiller-ul in modul de temperatura constanta, cu un target de -5°C, valoare atinsa in aproximativ 20 de minute si mentinuta fara probleme in benchmark-urile de tip compute, care sunt scurte si nu genereaza un TDP foarte ridicat.
In acest scenariu am putut urca tensiunea de alimentare a GPU-ului pana la 1.25 V, iar frecventa a ajuns la 3637 MHz in GPUPI si 3577 MHz in Geekbench. Pentru toate testele pe chiller am folosit un BIOS XOC, cu limita de putere ridicata, precum si posibilitatea de a tacta memoria peste pragul de 2125 MHz impus de BIOS-urile OC si Extreme OC.
In testele 3D am atins un consum de 1257 W si o temperatura maxima a GPU-ului de 34.6°C, asa cum puteti vedea si in screenshot-ul de mai jos, in conditiile in care apa din circuit avea o temperatura de aproximativ 0°C. Prin urmare, Alphacool Core 1 Aurora se dovedeste a fi un waterblock excelent si pentru placi grafice high-end.
Cu temperatura lichidului cuprinsa intre 0°C si 5°C – limita maxima pe care Eiszeit 2000 o poate sustine in conditii de load masiv si prelungit – MSI GeForce RTX 5090 32G LIGHTNING Z a rulat 3DMark Port Royal la 3474 MHz, obtinand un scor de 47916, 3DMark Speed Way la 3495 MHz pentru un scor de 17838, iar Unigine Superposition 8K la 3450 MHz pentru un scor de 25931.
Rezultatele sunt excelente, insa am ales doar trei exemple pentru comparatie, restul fiind prezentate mai jos. Concluzia ramane aceeasi: RTX 5090 scaleaza mai bine cu scaderea temperaturii decat cu cresterea tensiunii de alimentare, insa aceasta din urma este necesara pentru a obtine un boost mai ridicat si mai stabil.
Planurile noastre initiale pentru azot lichid au fost amanate momentan, deoarece RTX 5090 isi pierde boost-ul atunci cand temperatura GPU-ului in load devine negativa. Desigur, am fi putut castiga frecventa apropiindu-ne cat mai mult de pragul de 0°C, insa aceasta placa video va fi folosita in continuare pe platforma noastra de testare CPU, iar in balanta risc vs. beneficii, precautia a fost alegerea corecta pentru moment.
Cele mai importante rezultate, din punct de vedere al clasarii, obtinute in aceasta etapa a testelor sunt listate in cele ce urmeaza. La finalul paginii puteti vedea toate rezultatele inregistrate, impreuna cu clasamentul din acel moment – unul destul de spectaculos, as putea spune, mai ales ca, folosind doar un „simplu” chiller, am reusit sa depasim numeroase rezultate cu RTX 5090 (inclusiv Lightning Z) obtinute pe LN2!
