AORUS Z370 Ultra Gaming – BIOS
The BIOS covers all the settings we might need, offering both advanced settings and a simple configuration mode for those who only need basic settings. A very important aspect for this article is how the AORUS Z370 Ultra Gaming sets Turbo multipliers. Thus, at the theoretical level, Intel’s specifications mention Turbo Boost clocks of 4.1GHz for all cores and 4.3GHz for a single core. However, AORUS and ASUS motherboards will automatically set all cores to the maximum frequency, with Core i5 8600K running at 4300MHz in our tests, while the Core i7 8700K runs at 4700MHz, on all cores. This is how most users will put their computer to work anyway. The good news is that the stock VID for both CPU’s is somewhere around 1.17v.
