In order to test the real life performance in 3D rendering, we used a scene created by our forum user & professional 3D artist Amok, and we used the 3D Studio MAX engine used in production, more precisely Arnold.
Blender 2.8
He also created a custom Blender scene for us, which we rendered using the 2.8 version.
Even if the performance difference is not very big, DDR4 3600 CL16 and DDR4 3733 1:1 CL16 have a clear advantage, with DDR4 3200 CL14 following at a close distance. Asynchronous operation has a negative impact on performance, even when we increase the clocks significantly.
